It is with great honor and gratitude that I welcome you to the official website of the Gamma Phi Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. in Houston, Texas.

Gamma Phi Sigma is more than a chapter - we are a sisterhood built on faith, love, service, scholarship, and leadership. For over six decades, we have remained committed to transforming live and strengthening our communities throughout the Greater Houston area and beyond. 

 

In 1966 fifteen women chartered our chapter, igniting a rich history of leadership, sisterhood, scholarship and community service. Today, with over 200 chapter members, we utilize our resources to enhance the quality of lives first at home, throughout the country and abroad. Along with the undergraduate chapters we advise at Texas Southern University (Alpha Lambda) and Prairie View A&M (Delta Alpha), and our affiliates (Philos, the Rhoer Club, and Rhosebuds)  we will have a lasting impact on the city of Houston through service for years to come.

My vision is to Secure Our Legacy of Excellence by elevating our community impact, enhancing the infrastructure that positions us to serve, and increasing engagement within our sisterhood and the community.
