The “Oh So Divine” Delta Alpha Chapter was chartered November 5th, 1969 in Prairie View, TX at Prairie View A&M University. Prairie View A&M University is a public historically black university in Prairie View, Texas. Founded in 1876, it is one of Texas's two land-grant universities and the second oldest public institution of higher learning in the state of Texas. This university has opened its doors to anyone seeking higher education since it has opened. PVAMU has continued to produce productive people since 1876.
